Cyber Strong Business - Cyber Cafe
Highlands and Islands Enterprise will work with partners – the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and COSLA / Business Gateway to raise awareness of Cyber Security risks and what businesses can do to protect themselves. Supported by the Scottish Government we will deliver a series of masterclasses for local businesses across the region, offering free advice and support.
The Cyber Strong Business Cyber Café allows businesses of all sizes to be able access a Cyber Security Practitioner on a 1:1 basis and gain specific advice on how to identify and address Cyber Security threats within their business. The Cyber Café will be travelling around the Highlands and Islands to allow face to face sessions 45 minutes sessions to be pre-booked with the practitioner.
The session will allow the business to receive specific advice on the following examples:
- Data backup
- Password management
- Anti virus software
- Patch management
- User account management
The session will take place at Highlands and Islands, 9 James Street, Stornoway HS1 2QN.
