Digital Marketing Training (Forres)
A six-month Digital Marketing Training programme is now available for HIE clients who want to equip their organisation with the knowledge and skills to deliver more effective and professional digital marketing.
WHAT SKILLS AND COMMITMENT ARE REQUIRED?
The training is suitable for staff who are directly responsible for website(s), marketing activity and/or social media. The training is offered at an ‘Intermediate’ or ‘Advanced’ level. Each trainee will have a personal training plan that will be tailored to their organisation’s goals and their personal capabilities. The trainee will need to dedicate at least a day a month to personal online study from October 2018 to March 2019, as well as in-person training at the start and end.
AVAILABILITY AND TIMING
As an initial trial project, there will be 24 places available.
Trainees can be from anywhere in the Highlands and Islands however they will need to travel to either Inverness or Moray for the two initial training days and one training day at the end, of the six-month period. Travel & Subsistence costs aren’t available.

The Initial training will consist of group work and a solo session to meet with the mentor who will then support the trainee one-to-one for the remaining six months.
Over this time, the trainee will work through a targeted plan of online training overseen by the mentor. Monthly mentor meetings can take place in person or via Skype. Online training can be carried out remotely.

The training programme will cover a broad range of digital marketing tailored to each delegate’s specific needs and business objectives.
INITIAL 2-DAY TRAINING
Join award winning trainer and author, Daniel Rowles, for two days of practical insights. You’ll learn techniques and tools that you can use straight away, and build a detailed digital strategy to implement.

MENTORING AND ONLINE TRAINING
Following the initial training you will be able to log in to the online training platform to continue your learning journey. There are over 140+ bite sized training courses available that take around 20 minutes each. You will receive a personalised suggested programme of online courses, to enhance your knowledge and address any specific needs according to your objectives.
CThe programme will conclude with a final training day focused on the latest trends in digital. There will be an opportunity to ask final questions and learn from each other. Finally, there will be a short ceremony where certificates achieved will be presented.
ELIGIBILITY FOR DIGITAL MARKETING TRAINING SUPPORT
This support is available to organisations that are account managed by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE). The training is fully funded by HIE however the £1,212.50 cost will be deducted from your overall De Minimus Aid Allowance.
Applications close on Friday 7 September 2018 at noon.
Where the training is oversubscribed, applications will be assessed by a panel and all applicants notified by Friday 14 September at noon.
